Events

Competitive swimming events are a great way to challenge the swimmers in your club to reach for their best. Events are hosted by clubs and Swim Nova Scotia. The Schedule of Events for Summer, Year-Round and Masters swimming in Nova Scotia is set by Swim NS and must be sanctioned by Swim NS via the Swimming Canada webpage. Programming is developed following Swimming Canada’s Swimmer Development Matrix; Swim NS Event Descriptors can be found here.

• Time Standards are reviewed each year and adjusted as necessary to ensure accuracy and balance between events and are available below with each respective program.
