COLD WEATHER INVITATIONAL SWIM MEET

ELIGIBILITY: This event is open to all registered NS Masters Swimmers or equivalent. Registration forms will be available at the registration desk on the day of the meet. The SNS registration fee is $20.

LOCATION: Fisheries Training Pool, Harbor Drive, Pictou, NS

FACILITIES: 6 lanes - 25 meter pool. The starting blocks are located at the deep end of the pool.

Swimming supplies will be available for sale by the pool staff. Please check with receptionist.

REGISTRATION: Starts at 2:30 p.m.

WARM-UP: 3:00 p.m. to 3:50 p.m.

NSM warm-up procedures will be in effect.

MEET STARTS: At 4:00 p.m.

COST: Registration fee is $20.

Relay events are free.

SEEDING: Seeding will be by entry time. Men and women will swim

together but will be scored separately.

AWARDS: Ribbons for first, second and third place. The results of the meet will be compiled and mailed to the participating clubs after the swim meet

SOCIAL: A social will be held immediately after the swim meet at one of the member’s home. A map of the location will be available at the registration desk on the day of the meet.

* Events 17 & 18 will be swum together and will be limited to a maximum of 2 heats. Swimmers may be required to swim 2 per lane.
