Swim Nova Scotia is pleased to announce that Lance Cansdale, has been named as the Provincial Coach.

Effective August 1st, Coach Cansdale will work with our top-level athletes and club coaches across the province to help coordinate training and competitive opportunities.
As a former All-American swimmer, Lance has over twenty years experience as a swimming professional; he is the former Executive Director for Swim B.C. and has been a Head Coach with the following universities / clubs: California State University - Bakersfield, Hyack Swim Club (New Westminister), Vernon Kokanee Swim Club and Simon Fraser University. He has also worked with national teams including the 1999 World Cup Tour, 2001, 2003 and 2005 World Championships and the 2002 Commonwealth Games. He will be joining us from Swimming Canada as their Director of Domestic Operations.
