Swim Nova Scotia is pleased to announce that Brian Beckwith, Senior Coach for the Halifax Trojan Aquatic Club has been named as the 2013 Canada Games Head Coach for swimming.

Brian brings with him a wealth of experience as a former swimmer, a massage therapist and a Coach. He has been working with swimmers in Nova Scotia since 1999 either in the role as Head Coach or Assistant Coach.

Through his Club Coaching experiences, Brian has been selected as a member of the Coaching Staff for several Provincial and Regional Tour teams. Brian also demonstrates strong administrative attributes as the Chair of the Nova Scotia Swim Coaches Association and a member of the Swim Nova Scotia Board of Directors, serving as the Director of High Performance.

Brian will be working with Swim Nova Scotia’s Committee’s to develop and finalize the 2013 Canada Games plan over the next few months.
