21 year old Chris Reith of the Halifax Trojan Aquatic Club placed sixth overall at the 5km National Pool Challenge today at the Saanich Commonwealth Pool in Victoria, B.C.
With a time of 58.31, Reith enjoyed the pool challenge as he is preparing for the Open Water series and the National Open Water Championship in Montreal on August 1st. He felt that he stayed consistent with his pace throughout the grueling race.
Chris is a pioneer in Nova Scotia swimming, completing the longest distance ever swum in our province at a national competition.
